MSc with thesis on nitrate reduction in sandy aquifers from Univ. Copenhagen in 1988. Researcher and Sr. Scientist at GEUS / Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland since 1988 and 2000, respectively. My current research activities and interests include: 1) climate change impacts on groundwater quantity and quality -including sea level rise and seawater intrusion, 2) climate change adaptation 3) the relation between groundwater quantity and quality (chemical status) and the ecological status of dependent terrestrial and associated aquatic ecosystems 4) groundwater age / dating and contaminant trends and 5) New innovative and sustainable solutions within the water sector.
